These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the Drivrr website, mobile application, and related services. By creating an account or using Drivrr, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

1. About Drivrr

Drivrr is a technology platform that connects independent businesses with independent drivers for local delivery opportunities.

Drivrr:

  • Does not prepare, sell, or own goods
  • Does not employ drivers
  • Is not a courier or logistics company
  • Does not act as an agent for businesses or drivers

Drivrr provides software that facilitates connections between Businesses and Drivers.

2. User Categories

The Platform is available to:

  • Business Users (Businesses)
  • Delivery Partners (Drivers)

Different obligations apply to each.

3. Nature of the Service

Drivrr enables:

  • Businesses to request delivery services
  • Drivers to accept delivery opportunities

Drivrr does not guarantee:

  • Driver availability
  • Delivery acceptance
  • Delivery performance
  • Delivery volume
  • Earnings

All deliveries are performed by independent Drivers.

4. Independent Contractor Status (Drivers)

Drivers operate as independent contractors.

Nothing in these Terms creates:

  • Employment
  • Worker status
  • Agency
  • Partnership
  • Joint venture

Drivers are solely responsible for:

  • Taxes
  • Insurance
  • Vehicle maintenance
  • Compliance with UK law

Drivers determine when and whether to accept delivery requests

5. Business Responsibilities

Businesses agree to:

  • Provide accurate delivery details
  • Ensure goods are lawful and safe
  • Package goods securely
  • Comply with all applicable laws
  • Verify age for restricted goods

Businesses remain responsible for:

  • Customer payments
  • Refunds
  • Customer disputes
  • Product quality
  • Compliance with consumer law

Drivrr does not handle customer payments unless explicitly agreed.

6. Driver Responsibilities

Drivers agree to:

  • Hold valid licenses and appropriate insurance
  • Maintain a roadworthy vehicle
  • Comply with road traffic laws
  • Deliver goods professionally
  • Act respectfully toward customers and businesses

Drivers are fully responsible for their conduct.

7. Business Free Trial

New Business users may receive a 14-day free trial. The trial begins on account activation. During the trial:

  • No subscription fee is charged.
  • Full access to platform features may be provided.

Free trials are limited to one per Business. Drivrr reserves the right to modify or withdraw trial offers.

8. Business Subscription & Billing

At the end of the 14-day trial:

  • The Business account automatically converts to a paid subscription.
  • The subscription fee (£30 per month unless otherwise stated) is charged via the provided payment method.

Subscriptions

  • Are billed monthly in advance
  • Automatically renew
  • Continue until cancelled

By entering payment details, Businesses authorise recurring charges. Subscription fees are non-refundable once charged. Failure to use the Platform does not constitute cancellation.

9. Business Cancellation

Businesses may cancel only through the platform.

If cancelled:

  • Access continues until the end of the billing period
  • No partial refunds are issued.
  • No further charges occur after the current billing period.

10. Payment Processing

Payments are processed via Stripe. Drivrr does not store full card details. Users agree to Stripe’s terms when entering payment information.

11. Failed Payments

If a subscription payment fails:

  • Drivrr may retry the charge
  • Access may be suspended
  • Delivery functionality may be restricted

Access resumes once payment is successful.

12. Driver Access During Pilot

During the pilot phase, Drivers may access the Platform without subscription fees. Drivrr reserves the right to introduce Driver subscription fees in the future. Reasonable notice will be provided before charges apply.

13. No Guarantee of Earnings (Drivers)

Drivers acknowledge:

  • No guarantee of delivery volume
  • No guarantee of earnings
  • Income depends on demand, timing, and driver availability

Access to the platform does not guarantee work

14. No Guarantee of Availability (Businesses)

Drivrr does not guarantee:

  • Immediate driver availability
  • Specific delivery timeframes
  • Delivery acceptance

The platform operates on a best-effort basis

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Drivrr shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of profits
  • Loss of revenue
  • Indirect or consequential losses
  • Delivery delays
  • Damage to goods
  • Actions of Drivers
  • Actions of Businesses

Drivrr’s total liability shall not exceed subscription fees paid in the previous three months.

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

16. Indemnity

Users agree to indemnify and hold Drivrr harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:

  • Breach of these Terms
  • Illegal activity
  • Delivery disputes
  • Product issues
  • Driver conduct
  • Business conduct

17. Insurance

Drivers must maintain appropriate delivery insurance. Businesses must ensure goods are lawful and properly packaged. Drivrr does not provide insurance unless explicitly stated.

18. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in the platform belongs to Drivrr, including:

  • Software
  • Code
  • Design
  • Branding
  • Logos
  • Content
  • Layout
  • Delivery workflows
  • Business processes

is owned by or licensed to Drivrr.

Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for its intended purpose only. No ownership rights are transferred.

19. Platform Restrictions

Users must not:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, or resell platform access
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Create derivative works
  • Scrape or extract data
  • Remove branding or proprietary notices
  • Bypass subscription systems
  • Commercially exploit the Platform outside intended use

Unauthorised use may result in termination and legal action.

20. Suspension & Termination

Drivrr may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Breach of these Terms
  • Fraud
  • Safety concerns
  • Legal compliance issues

Users may close accounts at any time.

21. Force Majeure

Drivrr shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including:

  • Technical failures
  • Internet outages
  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Third-party service failures

22. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with Drivrr’s Privacy Policy.

23. Changes to These Terms

Drivrr may update these Terms. Continued use of the platform after updates confirms acceptance.

24. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
